2026 Spring/Summer Classes
Classes through the Quilt Capital of Kansas
The QCKS team is putting together the new class list for Summer 2026! Be sure to check back as we get ready to add new classes for youth from 6th grade through adult. Registration for all classes is available on the Quilters' Paradise website. All classes will be held at the Lumberyard Arts Center, unless otherwise noted, as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas partnership. Classes require advance enrollment through the Quilters' Paradise website or by contacting the shop directly. Classes with no enrollments three (3) days prior to class will be cancelled.

Quilting/Textile Open Studio
June Wednesdays ONLY from 1pm to 6pm
Lumberyard Arts Center
Free Open Studio for Textile Arts on Wednesdays at the Lumberyard Arts Center. For June ONLY, time shifts to 1pm to 6pm on Wednesdays, June 3, 10, 17, & 24. Time shifts back to 10am to 3pm on July 1. The studio will be open to anyone wanting to work on quilting/sewing/textile/needlework projects. We've had people spinning fiber, crocheting, embroidering, quilting and more! All welcome! This time offers a great opportunity to finish up UFOs, get answers to questions about patterns, or just come enjoy stitching with friends. Sewing with friends is always more fun!

Rent a Ruler   Some of the rulers, especially specialty rulers, have become quite expensive, especially if you do not plan to use them for another project. Quilters' Paradise has decided to offer the opportunity to rent some of those rulers to our customers for $10 per project. Just bring your fabric and rotary cutter to Quilters' Paradise and you can cut your project in our quilting room. Call 785-594-3477 to make an appointment.
