2026 Winter/Spring Classes
Classes through the Quilt Capital of Kansas
New classes for youth from 6th grade through adult are now open for registration on the Quilters' Paradise website. All classes will be held at the Lumberyard Arts Center, unless otherwise noted, as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas partnership. All classes require advance enrollment through the Quilters' Paradise website or by contacting the shop directly. Classes with no enrollments three (3) days prior to class will be cancelled.

Quilting/Textile Open Studio
Every Wednesday from 10am to 3pm
Lumberyard Arts Center
Free Open Studio for Textile Arts at the Lumberyard Arts Center from 10am to 3pm on Wednesdays. The studio will be open to anyone wanting to work on quilting/sewing/textile/needlework projects. We've had people spinning fiber, crocheting, embroidering, quilting and more! All welcome! This time offers a great opportunity to finish up UFOs, get answers to questions about patterns, or just come enjoy stitching with friends. Sewing with friends is always more fun!
Ad Astra Quilt Shop Hop Two weeks until the Ad Astra Shop Hop starts!Each of the ten shops will have Patriotic Fat Eighth bundles for purchase during the hop, a total of 40 fabrics to collect.
