Saturday, September 13 -- 2nd Saturday 25% Off Sale It's 2nd Saturday Sale time again at Quilters' Paradise! Starting this month, sale Saturdays will have extended hours from 10am to 5pm. Nearly everything in the shop is 25% off on Saturday, September 13!Be aware that the intersection of 8th & High Streets is closed. You may enter the 700 block of 8th Street from the north, past the barricade, to park near the shop. You'll have to turn around to get back out the way you came in.
A Celebration of Zig-Zag/Buttonhole Stitches! Last month, Quilt Capital of Kansas held Helen Blanchard Day, a celebration of zig-zag/buttonhole stitch machines that are all based on her invention of the first such machine that was patented in 1873. Next month there will be a drawing for a Singer Fashion Mate zig-zag sewing machine, generously donated by Charles McFall, with proceeds supporting the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming. Be sure to stop by Quilters' Paradise to get your ticket(s) before the drawing is held on Blanchard's birthday, October 25!
