Quilters' Paradise will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm through May 31, as well as Sundays, April 21 and May 19 from noon-4pm Quilters' Paradise has plenty of the 2024 AKNSH Magazines in stock. Come in to purchase yours while hopping or order online to have one shipped to you.

Visit participating shops to get your Passport stamped and pick up a free Quilt Block Pattern Card from each store you visit on your Great Sewing Adventures™ Across Kansas & Nebraska! Exclusive Shop Hop Fabrics are available in participating shops. **** Shop Hoppers please be advised: Downtown Baldwin City where the shop is located will be closed to traffic and/or parking near the shop on Saturday, May 11 due to the Thunder on the Bricks car show. Parking will be available along High St. on 6th Street and on 7th Street both north and south of High Street. You will have to walk in from there.

Waddington Road Block of the Month

Finished Size: 90" x 90"

Twelve kits are available to make this beautiful eight-month Block of the Month sampler. The pattern includes a Magic Triangle ruler used in constructing either of the center medallions. Don't let the broken star center medallion scare you away--it is strip-pieced with great detailed instructions. The framed star (inset bottom left) is an alternate medallion for a different look. Liz will be making this quilt along with you and, beginning on June 1, will post a First Saturday Sampler monthly video to our Facebook page with tips on assembling each block as you go, similar to how she guided you through the Second Saturday Sampler in 2022. We hope you will join in making this beautiful quilt!

Adult Summer Classes through the Quilt Capital of Kansas

The wait is over! With lots of hours and many emails back and forth, we have a spectacular list of adult classes posted on the Quilters' Paradise website that will all be held at the Lumberyard Arts Center as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas partnership.

First Wednesdays Open Studio remains open until 9pm

Lumberyard Arts Center

Free Open Studio for Textile Arts at the Lumberyard Arts Center from 10am to 3pm on Wednesdays. The studio will be open to anyone wanting to work on quilting/sewing/textile/needlework projects. We've had people spinning fiber, crocheting, embroidering, quilting and more! All welcome! This time offers a great opportunity to finish up UFOs, get answers to questions about patterns, or just come enjoy stitching with friends. Sewing with friends is always more fun!
