Fall Classes
We are winding up our 2023 classes with the following two still to come in November and December. Sign up directly on the Quilters' Paradise Website! Be sure to check back towards the end of the year as we are already working on a fresh list of classes for 2024. As before, there will be many choices with classes taught by Liz Granberg-Jerome, Sharon Vesecky, Laura Davids, Cheryl Travis, and Kathleen Thomas. All classes are co-sponsored by Quilters' Paradise and the Lumberyard Arts Center as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming. All classes are held in the studio/classroom at the Lumberyard Arts Center in Baldwin City, KS. Sign up online at the following links or call the shop to enroll.

Great class that will launch you in making your own One Block Wonder of Hexified Panel Quilt. Liz will guid you through layering & cutting your triangle sets to construction. Use six repeats of a medium size print for the OBW or purchase a wall-hanging size Hexified Panel kit with 7 layers from Liz at class. Loads of tips on framing the uncut panel in the layout, adding star points, or even cubes to your layout.
 
Quilting/Textile Open Studio
Every Wednesday from 10am to 3pm
Plus, first Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm
Lumberyard Arts Center
Free Open Studio for Textile Arts at the Lumberyard Arts Center from 10am to 3pm on Wednesdays, plus an evening session on first Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm. The studio will be open to anyone wanting to work on quilting/sewing/textile/needlework projects. We've had people spinning fiber, crocheting, embroidering, quilting and more! All welcome! This time offers a great opportunity to finish up UFOs, get answers to questions about patterns, or just come enjoy stitching with friends. Sewing with friends is always more fun!
