Fall Classes
All of the classes scheduled through December have been added to the Quilters' Paradise Website! There are many choices with classes taught by Liz Granberg-Jerome, Sharon Vesecky, Laura Davids, Cheryl Travis, and Kathleen Thomas. All classes are co-sponsored by Quilters' Paradise and the Lumberyard Arts Center as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming. All classes are held in the studio/classroom at the Lumberyard Arts Center in Baldwin City, KS. Sign up online at the following links or call the shop to enroll.

Smoke on the Bricks 2023
Road Closures in Downtown Baldwin City
Due to the Smoke on the Bricks annual barbeque contest, High Street from 9th to 6th will be closed beginning at 6:00 a.m. Friday, August 25th. 8th Street from The Bullpen to Grove St. will be closed. 7th Street from the alley behind the Library to Grove St. will be closed. This means no parking and no through traffic will be allowed after 6:00 a.m. Friday on these streets. The blocked streets will open back up at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26th.
If you plan to visit Quilters' Paradise on Friday or Saturday, August 25 or 26, plan to park outside the downtown area and walk in.
Maple Leaf Festival and Quilt Show
Saturday & Sunday, October 21 & 22, 2023
It's not to early to enter your quilts in the 51st annual Maple Leaf Festival Quilt Show that runs as part of the Maple Leaf Festival on the 3rd full weekend of October each year. Entry forms are available at Quilters' Paradise or from members of the Maple Leaf Quilt Guild. The updated entry form should available to download from the Maple Leaf Festival Quilt Show webpage soon.
