Update--Corrections on Classes & County Fair

our website

Welcome!

Uh-Oh, A Couple of Changes

For those who have already read through our recent e-blast newsletter delivered to your in-boxes on Thursday evening, we apologize for a couple of errors that were caught after we hit SEND. Here are the corrections:

In-Person Classes

Liz's Beginning Quilting series of six classes will be held on the
1st and 3rd WEDNESDAYs of July, Aug & Sept.
The dates in the previous e-blast are correct, but the day of the week was mistyped.

Laura's Jelly-Roll Rug class has the wrong description:
Laura will walk you through the steps of creating this cute rug. One jelly-roll, some batting and a machine zigzag stitch will have you admiring your own unique rug in no time.

Date and time are correct, but location may shift to the Lumberyard Arts Center if enrollment increases beyond the shop classroom space.

Douglas County Free Fair

After checking with the Douglas County Free Fair through their Facebook page, we learned that the early registration online convenience fee of $4.00 is per person--you may enter as many items as you want with the single fee. You can also bring our quilts to the fairgrounds on Sunday, July 25 and fill out the entry tags in person at no cost.

We hope many of you will bring quilts this year!

If you're free and would like to volunteer to help hang the quilts after judging is completed, please come to the Building 21 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Monday, July 26 by 10:00am.
Many hands make the task go quickly!

We're so glad you're here!
