Barn Quilt Block Workshop with Laura Davids



Create your own painted barn quilt block that can be hung inside or out with Laura Davids. Workshop includes instruction in the painting process.

Materials provided for each participant include:
    Primed wood 2'x2' background cut to size
    Paint & brushes
    Pencils, erasers, tape, yardsticks

Design ideas available or get help figuring out a design you like. The instructor reserves the right to inform participants that a design is too complex for a one-day class.

Class to be held Sat., July 27 from 9am to 3pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center, 718 High Street, Baldwin City
Class fee: $65

Limited to 10 individuals
Registration by Friday, July 12 to allow instructor time to prep blocks prior to class.

Quilting and textile art classes are co-sponsored by Quilters' Paradise and the Lumberyard Arts Center as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming.

Instructor Bio: Laura is our in-house pro at making bags, tuffets, rugs, and more. Her teaching style is adaptable to all students, assuring everyone in her classes succeeds.
