Help with Hexies with Liz Granberg-Jerome
If you've already taken Liz's Hexified Panel Quilt class or workshop and need help completing your project, this is the class for you! This drop-in/open studio to work on hexified or OBW quilt projects will give you a chance to get Liz's help on your next steps to a finished top.
Monday, August 18 from 10am to 4pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center
There have been requests for follow-up classes to help those who have projects in process to get more hands-on help from Liz to finish their projects. Seeing the steps demonstrated in their original class may not have stuck as they move forward. This is the first of what I hope to be a series of follow-up classes specifically aimed at the Hexified Panel Quilts and One Block Wonders.
There is no specific supply list for this session--bring what you think you'll need.
Cutting mats and an ironing station available in class.
Quilting and textile art classes are co-sponsored by Quilters' Paradise and the Lumberyard Arts Center as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming.

| Instructor Bio: | Liz Granberg-Jerome brings 15+ years of quilting experience, on top of 50+ years of sewing to the classroom. She works well with all levels of students, working with each student to ensure everyone in her class succeeds. The One Block Wonder and her twist Hexified Panel Quilts are Liz's specialty. Having made over 60 of these quilts based on 60 degree triangles, you'll get the benefit of her knowledge and experience in making your own OBW quilts. |
