Beginner/Brush-up Crochet with Becky Fender & Janet Anderson-Story
This class is for those who wish to learn (or relearn) how to crochet with yarn. No prior experience is necessary but patience and persistence are a must. We will learn about yarn weights, hook sizes and purposes, how to read a yarn wrapper, and practice basic stitches: chain, single and double crochet. Scarfs, pot holders, and soap holders/caddies are some of the projects we will practice.

November 1: Orientation/Demonstration 1:00-2:00 (free)
We'll have samples of our work and demonstrate the type of projects they will work on in this four session class.
November 8: 1:00-3:00
November 22: 1:00-3:00
*December 13: 3:00-5:00 -- later time due to LAC event
December 20: 1:00-3:00
Some hooks and yarn will be available.
If you want to bring your own:
Size H (5 mm) and J (6 mm) crochet hooks
One skein #4 worsted weight acrylic yarn
Scissors
Sewing tape measure
For adults or older children (6th - 12th grades) new to or renewing their skills of crocheting.
