Make What You Want--Garment Sewing with Angie & Ruthie

Need help finishing a project or making a garment? This class is for you! If you have a pattern and need help getting started, let Angie & Ruthie, our sewing instructor team, show you some great tips to help you towards your goal. Get help laying out patterns, altering a pattern to fit you, and more! Students will learn how to lay and cut out a pattern, sew basic stitches and more. Learn basic sewing skills with your instructor team--Angie Spielman and Ruthie Rodden.
For everyone from 6th grade through adult
Sunday, June 29 from 10am-1pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center
Supply List:
Sewing machine in good working order (with manual) **A few sewing machines are available for use at the LAC by request**
Sewing notions--pins, seam ripper, scissors, thread snips, etc.
Pattern of choice
Fabric as directed on pattern
Neutral or blending thread
Quilting and textile art classes are co-sponsored by Quilters' Paradise and the Lumberyard Arts Center as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming.
