Intro to Fusible Applique with Liz Granberg-Jerome

Fusible Applique is a technique that is quite popular in patterns that include simple to complex motifs as part of the overall design. Learn about various fusible products and create a fun layered heart appliqued onto a courthouse steps background block.

Sunday, March 16 from 1-4pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center

Liz Granberg-Jerome will share her knowledge of various types of fusible products, along with the pros and cons of each for various quilt projects. Prep your fabric with the fusible web, cut out and fuse it to your block. Experiment with different stitches on your sewing machine to secure the pieces--blanket stitch vs. zigzag or others.

Class fee: $35
