Stained Glass Quilt with Liz
Stained Glass quilts are easier than you think! Join Liz Granberg-Jerome as she guides you through a stack-and-slash technique to create a stunning quilt with your own unique template.
Sunday, November 17 OR Wednesday, November 20, 10am-3pm in the Lumberyard Arts Center classroom.
With 12 assorted fat quarters, you'll make the stack-and-slash blocks that will resemble Stained Glass windows for a stunning quilt. This technique works best with jewel tone batiks, tone-on-tone prints, or small print florals. If using batiks, you'll need to be extra careful when piecing as there is no identifiable right or wrong side. With all the crazy angles, the typical precision of matching points or seams is not an issue!
