Youth: Beginning Crochet with Becky Fender



In this beginning crochet class, Becky Fender will teach you how to read a crochet pattern, how to hold a hook and chain stitch, plus teach you several basic stitches to get you ready to create! Two sessions on Saturdays, November 16 and December 14, from 1pm to 3pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center.

Registration is required.
For youth in 6th through 12th grades.

Summer 2024 Youth Classes are supported by a grant from the Douglas County Heritage Conservation Council.


Quilting and textile art classes are co-sponsored by Quilters' Paradise and the Lumberyard Arts Center as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: For youth in 6th to 12th grades interested in learning to crochet. No prior experience needed. Registration required.

Instructor Bio: Becky Fender is passionate about crochet. She has been crocheting for over 30 years and loves sharing her passion with others.
