Crochet Room 101 for teens with Becky Fender

In this make-and-take class, Becky Fender will teach you how to read a crochet pattern, how to hold a hook, plus teach you several basic stitches to get you ready to create! Saturdays, January 27 & February 3, from 10am to noon at the Lumberyard Arts Center.

For youth in 7th through 12th grades.

Class fee: $45.00 ($40 for LAC members) includes pattern, crochet hook, skein of yarn, and instruction.

This class is co-sponsored by the Lumberyard Arts Center and Quilters' Paradise as part of the Quilt Capital of Kansas programming.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: For youth in 7th to 12th grades interested in learning to crochet. No prior experience needed.
Materials Included: pattern, crochet hook, yarn

Instructor Bio: Becky Fender is passionate about crochet. She has been crocheting for over 30 years and loves sharing her passion with others.
