Scrappy Bags! with Angie Spielman
Design and sew a scrappy bag using fabric scraps! No previous sewing skills required!
Students will design a small bag from fabric scraps. No previous sewing skills are required. Students will learn how to measure and cut fabrics to size, straight stitch on a sewing machine, insert a zipper, and do basic machine quilting. All materials needed will be furnished. Students may bring their own sewing machine. A limited number of sewing machines are available at the LAC for use during class.
Youth class for those from 6th grade to 12th grade.
Saturday, August 17 from 1:00 to 3:30 pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center
Register by August 10, limited to 6 students.
