Machine Paper Piecing with Cheryl

Have you seen numbered quilt patterns in books or magazines and wondered what they were? Have you seen perfect patchwork resulting from foundation machine paper piecing? Foundation paper piecing is a method that allows you to create accurate patchwork blocks quickly and easily by machine. Come join Cheryl Travis to learn the basics of Foundation Paper Piecing on Wed., March 22 from 10am to 1pm at the Lumberyard Arts Center.

By placing your fabrics on the paper foundation and sewing on the lines, you can create unusual shapes with perfect points using the Foundation Paper Piecing method. Cheryl will teach you the basic steps that can then be used in more complex patterns. You will create one FPP pineapple log cabin in class and receive additional foundations to make a table runner.
