Quilting Basics Part 2--Adding Geese

As we move on to the second of four classes we will add additional units to your repertoire and build your confidence in turning written block patterns into actual fabric quilt blocks. Teacher Liz Granberg-Jerome will provide informative handouts and block patterns in each class to use for reference as she guides you in hands-on instruction. You will make nine blocks by the end of the series, plus optional bonus blocks to create a sampler quilt of up to 12 different blocks. This series includes many tips, tricks, and plenty of time for Q&A. Great class for new quilters or as a refresher for those wishing to hone their skills. Classes will meet in the Lumberyard Arts Center classroom/studio. Class fee: $35 per class

Quilting Basics Part 2: Wed., September 20, 5:30-9:00 pm

Three block patterns will be given as part of the class that can be made into a table runner or saved over the series to become a sampler quilt. Optional bonus block patterns will also be available in each class.
