Quilting Basics Part 1--Basic Instructions

If you have always admired quilts and wished you could make one, this is the class for you! This series of four classes will teach you the basics to become a quilter. Teacher Liz Granberg-Jerome will provide informative handouts to use for reference as she guides you in hands-on instruction of rotary cutting and basic machine piecing. You will make nine blocks by the end of the series, plus optional bonus blocks to create a sampler quilt of up to 12 different blocks. This series includes many tips, tricks, and plenty of time for Q&A. Great class for new quilters or as a refresher for those wishing to hone their skills. Classes will meet in the Lumberyard Arts Center classroom/studio. Class fee: $35 per class
