Hometown Block by Block
-We are going to do a Christmas Quilt Starting in October
to finish in plenty of time for Christmas next year. Choose your sashing and
border from our Christmas prints and add Christmas fat quarters to finish your
fabric selection. You will need to purchase the book* to have the pattern.
Don’t want a Christmas quilt? We will offer an alternate (spring) color
palette. Meets the second Monday of each month for six months at 10 a.m.
starting October 11.

Block by Block Block a Month -We will start a block a month in November (trying
to avoid that January weather). The pattern is in the same book* as the
Hometown Block by Block, so doing both is a real deal! Come the fourth Monday
of the month for the demo.
********
Thimbleberries Club starts in January -We will be making the 2011
Thimbleberries Club quilt, but we are changing the fabric selection. Choose
your border from our selection of Thimbleberries fabric and we will build the
block kits to coordinate with that border. An additional project will be a
mystery quilt. We will still get Thimbleberries monthly projects and the Club Newsletter.
********
$5 Block Set -This Block a Month starts Jan 8 (The first Saturday of the month,
except January 1 is a holiday and we will be closed that day). It costs $5.
Next month you bring back your completed block and you get the kit for the next
block for free. Do this each month until you have 12 blocks! If you miss a
month, it costs another $5 to continue. Now we know things like vacations
happen, so you will get a “Dog ate my homework” card that you may bring one time
and be excused from paying the second $5. We will have a demo at 10:30 a.m.,
but we are not fussy about which day you pick up your kit after the first
Saturday—there will just not be a demo to go with it. Now here is the best
part—you can pick your color way—we are each making the blocks in different
fabrics and will have setting kits to complete the project. So far we have
black and white, 30’s reproductions, oriental, Thimbleberries, brights and batiks.
