Some previous classes we have offered are :

Batik Block a Month.
To start you will need to purchase 14 pleasingly plump (fat) quarters and 3/4 yard of light background fabric. Each month we will do one block and some element of the center and border applique. The border applique will be the same techniques as in the center. Finishing kit will be 2 yards each of black and tan batiks. The twelve pieced blocks will be 12 1/2" each. Finished size is 74" x 80". Instruction available at 9:00 a.m. the Second Saturday of each month.

Tablerunner a Month.
Each month we will plan two tablerunners, one seasonal and one non-seasonal. You may choose which one you want to do prior to the class and kits will be ready for class. (January kits will be chosen in December, etc.) We estimate that projects will cost $15 to $25, but there may be some variation depending upon the project. Class meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Thimbleberries Club.
This year’s Thimbleberries Club project is "3’s Company." We are offering it in the light and bright colorways. Cost of the project is $20.00 per month. Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. or the second Saturday of each month at 1:30 p.m. You may choose either time.

Cathedral Window Flag.
Feb. 14, 9 a.m. Learn to make Cathedral Windows entirely on sewing machine. $20 plus supplies, receive a $15 gift certificate to Quilters' Paradise upon completion of class.

The Adventures of Dorothy.
It’s not too late to sign up for our Wizard of Oz block a month! It has been extremely popular and we are mailing the blocks all over the United States! Kansas has no monopoly on Dorothy fans! The first block is $12.64; the remaining blocks are $5.00 each. If you want it mailed, postage is generally $2.00 for one block. (Groups of blocks run less for postage--please call for info.)

Lone Star Quilt.
Feb. 21, 10 a.m. Strip piece method will be used to make a Lone Star Quilt (full/queen size). $20 plus supplies.

Log Cabin Quilt.
Feb. 28, 10 a.m. This traditional quilt is a favorite (full/queen size).. $20 plus supplies.

Applique.
Starts March 4, 1:30 p.m. See the Folk Art Applique quilt hanging in the shop. A different block will be made each month. Several different techniques will be taught. $10 per month includes pattern for full/queen size quilt. Fabric and supplies to be purchased separately.

Double Wedding Ring.
March 21, 10 a.m. Another traditional quilt! $20 plus supplies. (Full/queen size quilt)

French Braid Quilt.
April 25, 10 a.m. This is a stunning quilt! $20 plus supplies. (Full/queen size quilt)

Pick your Project.
Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. Bring your project to work on. Friendly help/advice available. No class fee.

Pillowcase workshop.
March 21, 10 a.m. Come Celebrate National Quilting Day with us and make a pillowcase! We will have kits available ($9-$10) and sergers set up. It takes only 10-15 min to sew up a pillowcase!
